What it's made of
Outer cover: ripstop fabric, chosen for how well it resists tearing and abrasion — and how well it holds up wash after wash. Reinforced stitching at every stress point. Heavy-duty zips, positioned away from chew zones.
Core: orthopedic-grade high-density foam, in an independent replaceable insert.
Construction: layered, not sealed. Cover, liner, core and base separate so any one part can be replaced on its own.
How it's tested
Every design decision comes from live testing with Coco, our Rottweiler, who's destroyed four conventional beds on her record. Production units will undergo tensile strength, tear resistance and wash durability testing before they ship, and we'll publish those results here.
The modular principle
We're not trying to build the world's toughest dog bed. We're trying to build one of the smartest. We don't promise the fabric will never mark. We promise the bed survives. Damage a cover — replace the cover. Padding compresses — replace the core. One bed instead of four or five.
Still being confirmed
We're working with our manufacturer to finalise exact fabric weights, foam density and the reversible comfort panel. Anything not yet locked in is marked as in development on our site, and the waitlist hears about every change first.
